Appart'City Classic Angoulême Centre

We brought our dog and had no problems at all, the hotel was very accommodating to pets. Parking was another plus: free, right by the entrance, and no reservation needed. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the facilities covered what we needed. Cleanliness could use a little more attention to detail. Breakfast was okay, but the choice was somewhat limited, and more variety would improve it.

We stayed in a small studio with twin beds, a kitchenette and a shower room. Everything was impeccably clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. There’s plenty of free parking nearby, too. Breakfast was fantastic, with delicious croissants, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, and a good choice of drinks, bread, fruit, cheese, ham and yoghurt. Dogs are welcome for an extra 10€. Thoroughly recommended.

The old monastery downstairs is beautiful, and the breakfast area is nicely set out and appetising if you need it. Staff were helpful and responsive. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed, good shower and a useful kitchenette that had everything we needed. It’s easy to walk into Angouleme for food, shopping and sightseeing, and there’s free parking right outside. Driving out to the surrounding areas is easy as well. A wonderful idea that still has the comfort and practical touches of a standard hotel room. I’d highly recommend it.

Our room for the night, with a kitchenette and shower, was pretty basic. We arrived late, but another guest pointed us to somewhere for food and essentials. Continental breakfast was great, though extra. The reception staff were brilliant and went above and beyond to help us with our hire car and gifts for our son’s wedding.
