We liked the apartment so much that we wished we’d booked more than one night. It was extremely clean and everything looked new. The bed was comfortable, the linens felt good quality, and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower. The tea and coffee setup came with chocolates and biscuits, which was lovely. There were just two things I’d change. The hairdryer was fine for a travel one, though it would be great if there were a better one in the wardrobe. The bedside tables were tiny, about 12 by 20 cm, and couldn’t fit my drink, glasses, phone and book, so I used the coffee table instead. Our arrival was a little confusing because we’d missed the owner’s email. Once we paid, he called and explained how to get in, which turned out to be easy. Thanks for a super stay.

Studio 1 Côté Cour came with its own parking spot, and the location made it easy to enjoy everything in old town Angoulême. The bed, linens and furnishings were all superb, and the kitchen was swoon-worthy. Even the helpful instructions had a creative touch, from the dishwasher labels to the clever companion for the TV remote. Can’t wait to come back.

We were three friends in town for a wedding, so we rented the apartment. It was spacious and super clean, and Oliver was really kind. After a week on the road, this was easily our favorite place to stay. 10/10, we’d come back.

I stumbled across this place and was so glad I did. The property has been refurbished beautifully, with care for the age of the building. Everything was spotless. The owners put their money into the things guests really notice, like the air conditioning, gorgeous bathroom, great bed and B & O TV. It’s in a lovely location, with loads of parking nearby. A perfect choice.

The host was lovely and quick to respond. When the electric key gave us trouble, he was there in under five minutes. The apartment was quiet, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and cleverly laid out. It had high-end appliances and felt so cozy. We’ve stayed in similar hotel apartments in at least five countries, and this one was the best. Nothing fell short, and it went beyond what we expected. I’m not sure I’ll ever return to Angouleme, but if I do, this is where I’ll stay. Splendid!
