We made good use of the e-bikes from the lobby, riding all the way around the lake one day. The suite on the top floor was completely quiet, and the living room looked out over the old town toward the mountains. We stayed two nights in July and really enjoyed it. The train station is a three-minute walk away, and the river and old town heart are about five minutes on foot. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had plenty of space and a great shower, and the air conditioning worked well. Staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect English. I’d book the Hebe again if we come back to Annecy.

We were upgraded to the gorgeous top-floor suite for our one-night stop in Annecy. It was quiet, comfortable, spotless, and convenient, with the train station right beside the hotel. We’ll definitely return in summer and stay here again.

Hugo and Simeon were especially helpful with local tips and restaurant bookings, though I hope I’ve got their names spelled right. The woman who helped us hire the ebikes was lovely too and gave us useful information. We’re four adults from Australia and had a wonderful four days at Hotel Hebe in late July. The rooms were beautifully furnished and spotless. They’re larger than rooms usually are in Europe, and everything is within walking distance. We’d happily stay again and definitely recommend it.

There’s a public car park about a five-minute walk away, costing around €10 a day. The hotel is within walking distance of everything, though a little away from the main tourist areas. I paid €259 a night in September for a basic room without breakfast, which didn’t feel like good value. It’s presented and priced as a luxury four-star boutique hotel, but it doesn’t really live up to that.

I hardly ever write reviews, but this hotel earned five stars from me. The staff were lovely, friendly, and accommodating. If I could give it six, I would. We’ll be back.
