Oliver, his wife, and the other staff were attentive, and they gave good tips for local attractions. During the day, the hotel is run by a lovely couple, with their playful mascot Scooby around too. It’s a good choice if you want something simple and affordable just outside pricey Geneva, and tram #17 has a stop one block away. My room had what I needed for a good night’s sleep, while the lobby was comfortable for working, chatting, or grabbing a snack. Breakfast had a range of meats, cheeses, and other options, plus good coffee. There are several nice places to eat nearby, including a great bakery about five minutes away on foot. Looking forward to staying again.

The room was an acceptable size, and the cleaning was fine, but there were problems elsewhere. Soundproofing was practically nonexistent, so we could hear everything in other rooms, especially doors being shut with a bang. The reception and breakfast shared a very small space, which meant a limited breakfast. A large dog wandered between the tables wagging its tail while people were eating. At reception, if you get the woman who doesn’t speak English, it’s hard to communicate unless you know French.

A handy little hotel for avoiding Geneva’s high prices, and there’s free parking. We booked with the receptionist, who offered to match the price on the booking site and take €5 off. Thank you.

It used to be a clean, cozy family hotel with a welcoming feel. Now it feels cold, the room was really dirty, and breakfast was rather sad compared with the previous owner. Its location close to Geneva is what keeps it going.

The staff were polite and really nice, and the location was convenient, near a market, pharmacy, stores, and more. My room was clean, new, and warm on winter days. A very good hotel.
