Appart City Antibes

The price seemed good for the location and space, but don't be fooled. At 12:30 a.m., with two little kids and no realistic chance to find somewhere else, we discovered the room hadn't been made after the previous guest and the bath was dirty. The desk boy said they were fully booked and couldn't move us. He gave us a pair of towels and sheets, so we made up the room ourselves, and said we'd get a discount at checkout. By morning, that promise had been forgotten. We got no discount or compensation. It was a bad experience, and there are simply better alternatives if you look.

I expected Booking.com to step in and help resolve this fairly, since that's where I made the booking. Instead, I've been left without an answer for a long time, and I hold the platform accountable for proper support and transparency. Hotel Odalys has repeatedly failed to give me clear information about my cancellation and reimbursement. When they do respond, their answers are vague and unhelpful, and often they don't reply at all. It feels like the lack of communication is meant to delay things until I have no options left to change or recover my booking.

There is a pool, underground parking, and the property is fairly close to the sea. But an apartment hotel should have the basics for a 3-4 day stay, and this one didn't. Only the sheets were clean, thank goodness. The floor was dusty and dirty, there were spiders in every corner, and dust packed the ventilation ducts. The boiler in the closet kept starting up during the night, and not a single cabinet door was in the right place. It was clear the people managing these apartments didn't care about guest comfort.

The staff were friendly, but the place was nothing like the pictures. The garbage hadn't been taken out, the bathroom was terribly dirty, and there was so much dust. The smell was awful. I don't recommend it at all.
