Charming T2 Cap Antibes

The accommodation is simple, but laid out and equipped well for two people. Getting in was easy, and the place is quiet, with the Garoupe beaches very close and walkable. The location worked really well for us.

We spent 15 happy days here and would definitely come back. The owners welcomed us warmly, and even let us use their paddleboard and canoe. The apartment was spotless, practical, and well equipped. It also has a little private garden with two terraces and private parking.

The garden was green, fragrant, and so carefully kept, and the residence itself was delightful and peaceful. My boyfriend and I stayed in the first-floor apartment, which was spotless and beautifully furnished, with a veranda and terrace looking out over the garden. We ate outside at the table every day. We were there in 2008, and I still have such lovely memories of that vacation. We left a part of our hearts there and can’t wait to return.

For the price, it was pretty average. There were irritating upkeep issues, like bad door handles, too few sockets, and missing basics, and cleanliness wasn’t a strong point either. It could be a much more practical place, but I’m not the manager here. The beach is very close, though you should go down by 10 if you want a sunbed, which costs 10 euros. Mosquitoes come in swarms, so bring repellent. And if geckos bother you, maybe don’t smoke on the terrace in the evening. Otherwise, the usual: Russian kids yelling and Italian dogs going wild from boredom.
