The property is undeniably beautiful, but I left Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc deeply disappointed by how I was treated. I felt watched and repeatedly made to justify being there. Security seemed to follow me, and the staff’s behavior felt intrusive and uncomfortable, far from the relaxed luxury guests are promised. I’ve never experienced this at Monaco hotel de paris, saint tropez messardière or St barths. It was especially shocking after visiting another hotel in the same group this year, Eden Rock in Saint Barthélemy, where the staff were attentive, gracious, professional, and welcoming. I wasn’t followed around or made uncomfortable for simply enjoying the property there. This experience left me wondering whether racial bias may have played a part. For a hotel that prides itself on excellence, the lack of professionalism and hospitality was surprising and unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience. Next time, Eden Rock St Barths it is!

Everything exceeded my expectations, from check-in through departure. The property was beautiful, and the staff made every interaction feel warm and genuine. Their hospitality was impeccable. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, truly a great experience.

We enjoyed our second stay at Hotel du Cap even more than the first. The atmosphere and service are what make it special: every detail feels effortless, guests seem in sync, and the class is one of a kind. The views and timeless elegance are unmatched. To me, it’s the finest destination on the French Riviera. Can’t wait to come back!

We had dinner at the Grill overlooking the water, and the views were stunning. The service was incredible, and the food was even better. It was so good that we booked another dinner for next week. Exquisite from start to finish.

People of color, especially Arabs, may not find this a welcoming place. You can see it in some of the responses to reviews by people of Arab descent, which come across as incredibly defensive and hostile.
