A cozy hotel in a nice spot if you want to get away from the busy, crowded tourist area ☺️. The staff are friendly and polite, and the bed is super comfortable for a good night’s sleep.

The room was clean and nice, but I was really disappointed by the service. We had four welcome drink vouchers for the whole family, but on arrival they told us only one of us could have a drink. At breakfast on Sunday, an hour before it was due to end, there wasn’t a single slice of bread left. The drinks, glasses, and cakes were gone too, and the trays stayed empty for over 20 minutes. I understand they were busy, but when I mentioned it at reception, they sent me to the kitchen, where the response was rather unfriendly. Only after more people complained did the receptionist check the buffet herself. Paying more than 200 euros for a night and not getting breakfast is unacceptable.

We stayed at Ibis Styles Antibes this summer as a family of four with our dog, and won’t be returning. The stay was far below expectations, and I can’t recommend this hotel. After looking at older reviews, I noticed guests had been put in room 001 before despite its known problems, which made this even more frustrating. Room 001 smelled unbearable and its air conditioning didn’t work at all, unacceptable in peak summer. When we asked to move, the next room was extremely cramped, with room for only one person to move around at a time. It had no basic amenities like an electric kettle, and the wall-mounted AC barely cooled it, though it was a little better than the first room. There was only one kettle for guests near reception, and it was in bad condition, full of white scale and clearly not maintained. Some reception staff were not rude, but we had a very unpleasant encounter with one receptionist. He was dismissive and unprofessional from the start, saying “tell me, I’m listening.” Later, he told us our children, aged 3 and 9, shouldn’t play near reception. I agreed and immediately asked them to move, but he kept talking down to us and dragging the conversation out, until it became a heated exchange. There was no reason to keep escalating after we’d complied. Another guest told me they’d had a nearly identical experience and shared the same concerns about the hospitality. No paying guest deserves this treatment.

I’m a tour leader and brought a group of 50 people to the hotel. The two days we were there weren’t good at all, although the hotel itself isn’t so bad. On the day we arrived, I called ten times and got no answer. When I reached the hotel, I rang the phone to check I had the right number, and sure enough, it rang. The hotel just hadn’t picked up. The elevator was out of order when we arrived, and they told us it was a one-hour problem. It was still out when we left two days later. Also, my rooms had only dirty, wet towels on the floor, with no clean ones left.
