Hotel Juana

The fitness and spa areas need a serious upgrade, both in design and equipment. That may not matter much to many guests, since there’s so much else to do on the Côte d’Azur. The bathroom design felt a bit old-fashioned, though that’s purely personal. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and nice, and the lounge, restaurant, bar, and terrace were beautifully decorated. Food was very good, and the location was pleasant, just a step from the beach club. We spent a fantastic week in August at Hotel Juana with three adults and our dog. Service across the front desk, valet, concierge, bar, restaurant, and housekeeping was superb: professional, friendly, and helpful, exactly what you want from a first-class boutique family-run hotel in a top holiday spot. They always kept an eye on our dog, and even offer dog dinners and massages. We highly recommend it and will return.

Romain deserves a shout-out for making our stay easy and memorable. The hotel is a classic property in a great location, and guests also get access to its sister hotel, the Belle Rives, a short walk away right on the water. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Antibes, especially if you want to avoid the crowds in Cannes.

I stayed during the Cannes Yachting festival week and paid close to 900 euros per night, though the boat show probably pushed the rate up a lot. The hotel is very nice, but at that price I was disappointed. It didn’t match the standard of other comparable places, and the breakfast was especially poor.

We brought a baby, and the staff were very accommodating with all our needs. Everyone was warm, super friendly, and helpful whenever we needed anything. The location was amazing, and the beach club across the street was a great perk. I’d recommend seeing if access can be included in your package. The pool wasn’t anything special, and the elevator was so tiny it was sort of funny. The rooms were alright, but nothing remarkable. Still, we had an amazing stay thanks to the service and location.
