For the price, especially in such a popular city, this is one of the better options and the location is good. The place is basic, but clean and comfortable. I’d pay the small difference for a classic room, since it gets natural light and better ventilation. The economy rooms could use improved ventilation. The owners run the hotel themselves and were really friendly and helpful. They gave us tips for Antibes, and we had some nice chats.

Laurence and Jean-Marie made us feel very welcome. They were accommodating and hospitable, and the service was outstanding. The hotel itself is quiet, very clean, and well maintained, with a lovely atmosphere. It’s right in the center of Antibes. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back. We couldn’t sleep during our night there, and after complaining we left the next day. We asked for reimbursement after cancelling the rest of our stay, but the hotel refused. The room felt dark and suffocating, with no proper airflow. Both windows, one in the room and one in the toilet, opened onto what they called a courtyard. It wasn’t really a courtyard, and the photos show that. The area smelled dirty and was closed off above, so the air didn’t seem to renew at all.

The hosts were really friendly, and the place was cheap, cheerful, and clean. The rooms are simple, but I don’t spend much time indoors on holiday. During the heatwave, the air conditioning was a lifesaver.

This privately owned hotel is good value and in a superb location. It could use some updating, as others have mentioned, but at this price it was fine. There’s no lift.
