The apartments are spotless and well equipped, and the location is handy, with the beach just a few minutes' walk away and a supermarket nearby. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back.

JLP turned out to be our favorite town and beach during our trip across southern France, and we really enjoyed this tucked-away place. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hostess at Hotel Mandara Beach was charming, kind, helpful, and lovely, and it was a bonus that she speaks English well.

The host was very friendly and welcomed dogs. A few things need attention, though: some room sockets didn't work, and the towels and bedding could do with an update. Breakfast felt overpriced for something eaten in your room. It felt more like staying in someone's spare bedroom than in a hotel, which isn't really my preference. Still, the stay was cheap and acceptable overall.

The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and cool, and the receptionist was pleasant, polite, and helpful. I'd gladly come back. Just be aware there's no elevator, so if stairs are difficult for you, ask for a room on floor 0.
