Antibes has a huge covered outdoor market, open every day from 7:00 to 13:00 except Monday. It's full of fresh produce, flowers, spices, cheeses, jams and jellies, olives, and plenty more. We went on a Thursday and picked up vegetables for a salad that evening. There was lots of variety, and the service was excellent. Some stalls only take cash, so ask about cards before placing your order. One shopper picked up a tomato and the stall owner immediately confronted her, then yelled at her for a long time. You're asked not to touch the produce, so ask the seller to help instead. Worth a walk through.

I'm very into food and markets, and this one had so many good things. We picked up French olives, fruit, a great blue cheese, a baguette, and other tasty bits for a beach lunch. There were beautiful flowers, spices, fresh meat, and more as well.

Marché Provençal is worth a stop, especially since there isn't a huge amount to do in Antibes. We found good fresh produce and food and lavender related souvenirs, and there are restaurants along one side too. You'll probably pass through on the way to the main street anyway.

It's a lovely little Provençal market, open six days a week and closed on Mondays. A must-see in Antibes, with fruit and vegetables, cheese, meat, flowers, and plenty more. Cafes and restaurants around the market make it easy to sit for a drink and watch people. It gets busy in summer, so go before midday to enjoy it.

Set beneath a magnificent metal market hall in the old town, this is one of the French Riviera's most popular markets. It's interesting, though rather expensive. Bars, restaurants, and shops selling regional specialties line the market, making it a nice place to grab a bite after shopping.
