We had a spacious apartment and enjoyed having so much room. It was the Mediterranean room with terrace seaview, where my family stayed in January 2026. It had two bedrooms and two restrooms, plus a bathtub and a shower booth. The parking was free in the basement.

We stayed in a sea view apartment on the third floor, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The apartment was well equipped, with a dishwasher that made daily cleanup easy. We had breakfast on our private balcony instead of at the hotel, enjoying the morning sun from the east-facing side and the sunrise over the sea. Housekeeping was lovely and ready to help, and the reception and other staff were just as helpful. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable. The Royal Antibes is wonderfully placed by the sea, close to the old city, and, to my knowledge, the best hotel near it. The regular rooms are modern, clean and nice, though they don’t have sea views. There’s a fairly busy road in front, so an apartment on an upper floor is a good choice. Nights were very calm, but the balcony could be noisy during the day. The east-facing balcony gets great morning sun, though direct sunshine ends around noon. Some apartments on the east-south edge have balconies facing both directions, so they get sun all day. The hotel has a small private beach, but it’s only maintained in summer. You can rent a chaise longue there then, though space is tight. The public beach next door is free and open to everyone. The old part of the city is a five-minute walk away. We recommend a walk on the Sentier Littoral at the Cap d'Antibes, which was an incredible experience. For good but not fancy food in the old city, we liked Le Rustic for wood-fired pizza and other dishes, Le Tire Bouchon for Alsace specialities, and chez Marguerite for very good fish cooked over wood. For fine dining, we strongly recommend the old village of Mougins, especially Amandier de Mougins. In summer, try to get a terrace table there. There are also nice restaurants along the shore in Juan-Les-Pins in summer, such as Villa Djunah Beach, with its stunning sea views.

The staff were always friendly and ready to help, and breakfast had plenty of tasty options. I also liked having the beach with restaurant so close. My room was clean, modern and comfortable, with everything I needed. I had a lovely, relaxing stay at Royal Antibes. The hotel is right by the sea and only a few minutes’ walk from the old town. It felt cozy, and I’d happily return next time I’m in Antibes.

We travel a lot, but we’ve rarely been welcomed with this much hospitality. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety. Aron at reception was especially pleasant. We didn’t get to say goodbye, but we wish him all the best.
