The food was phenomenal and the service was great. When my friend broke his elbow, the hotel drove him down to the clinic, which was excellent of them. I’d stay again, but would insist on a room with a walk-in shower. Ours only had a nice jacuzzi tub and no shower at all, which is not what you want after a day on the slopes, especially at 400 euro/night.

The staff were really kind and helpful, and they sorted out ski rentals and our lift passes. The hotel’s location is amazing, with skiing straight from the door, and our room was charming and very cozy. Breakfast was okay, but in our opinion it wasn’t worth what they charged.

Room 16 is fabulous, with its own hot tub and steam room 😁. It’s a great hotel for the slopes, though getting into town takes a bit of a hike. Honestly, there isn’t much reason to leave.

For years we’ve returned twice each winter, and this is still our favourite hotel in the Alps. It’s right on the piste with ski-in, ski-out access. The rooms are beautiful, the service exceptional, and the restaurant outstanding. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting a very special stay.

If you’re a good skier and can take the red runs, this is the best hotel for skiing. You don’t need a car to get down. The restaurant is well worth trying, but it’s very expensive compared with the others.
