We booked through Sunweb and found this a good, affordable option. Our studio had bunk beds, though each apartment is different depending on its owner. There’s no reception, so check which agency handles the keys and sheets. They’ll likely be in Flaine Forum, the lower part of town, reached by a nearby elevator. There’s a small Spar, bakery, restaurants, and bars down there. The block is 200m from the slopes, with ski lockers downstairs, but you need to take your boots up. The fast eight-person chair is excellent and goes to the ridge, where you can reach the other linked resorts. Apartments with balconies should get lots of sun. The paid car park is behind the building, but you can unload for free for 1.5 hours. Parking costs 10€ a day, or there's free parking before the resort with a shuttle bus.
