Closerie Les Capucines

We spent two nights at La Closerie and had a fantastic, memorable stay. The surroundings are beautiful and well cared for, with a lovely little pool tucked into an idyllic oasis. Our apartment, “Ploussard,” was spacious and luxurious, with two generous bedrooms, a large bathroom, and a living room. Everything felt high quality, thoughtful, and tastefully done. The welcome was warm, almost like being among family, while still very professional. Our host took care of everything with such attention that it was hard not to feel it was all perfect. The minibar in the room was complimentary and stocked with local drinks. Breakfast was delicious, generous, and beautifully presented, with lovely local touches. For stays longer than one night, there are thoughtful changes from morning to morning. The care in the service really stood out. One small suggestion: a Nespresso machine or electric kettle in the room would be useful. The large, luxurious shared lounge does have complimentary espresso, latte, tea, and more, available around the clock. We’ll definitely come back!

We stayed at La Closerie des Capucines a few months ago, and we still think about how lovely it was. Elise and Zélie were brilliant hosts, so kind and welcoming, and ready to help with tasks large or small. Their advice and hospitality made our time in Arbois and the Jura region especially memorable. The room and common areas were beautifully decorated, and we can’t wait to visit again.

Breakfast was the highlight of each day, and we’re especially grateful for Zelie’s kindness and thoughtfulness. She handled all our restaurant reservations and helped us get in and out of the property. The room and bed were elegant and comfortable, and the bathroom felt high end, with a terrific walk-in shower. One of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. THANK YOU!

We came with two other couples during a snowy spell in the gorgeous village of Arbois, and the house felt cozy and welcoming, with a lovely, unique character. The stocked kitchen was a real asset, and the common areas made it feel like home. Elise and Zélie were incredible hosts and made us feel like family. The breakfast was exquisite, and all the personal touches made a real difference. We felt treated like royalty and can’t wait to return.
