L'Albiziane

After Paris, staying in the forest felt like a real breath of fresh air. The owner is lovely, and our room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Breakfast with fresh and/or local products was a rare treat and much appreciated. We had a wonderful stay!

Breakfast was varied, with fresh, quality products, and we’d recommend staying here. We were warmly welcomed at the Albiziane and had a really pleasant change of scene. Our room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, with refined decor and some lovely welcome products.

The staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt at ease right away. Our family of 12 fit comfortably in the gîte for a very pleasant weekend. The setting is peaceful and green, right in the Fontainebleau forest, with good options for hikes, nature outings, and visits to Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte castles. We’re Claude François fans, so being just 12 kilometers from the Dannemois mill and its events was a bonus. The spacious bedrooms had lovely bathrooms, were well equipped, and had excellent bedding. There’s a billiard room and a cinema room that worked perfectly for spending time together as a family. Breakfast was served at a big table and was varied and plentiful.

Breakfast was plentiful and high quality, and Isabelle has all the automatic appliances needed for different breakfast preferences. We were the first guests in the Savannah Suite, and it made for a really pleasant getaway after a forest hike. The bed was cozy and very comfortable, and our 7-month-old loved the travel cot provided by the gîte. Isabelle now knows how to open it ;) The stay was relaxing and restorative. We’ll have to come back in warmer weather to try the terrace and enjoy the large garden. One warning about playful dogs: they’re only allowed in after a few rounds of fetch :) We’ll be back soon!
