We enjoyed our pizza and a drink at the evening restaurant and bar. The menu was limited, but that suited us. The young family running this unpretentious site were lovely, and everything was kept clean. The pool is small, clean and heated. There's a decent supermarket in the village, an easy bike ride away, and the station is also easy to reach by bike for trains to Besancon. The Salines Royale is well worth seeing, and has a fascinating site and a nice cafe for lunch. It's away from the main tourist areas but close to many superb wineries. All well worth a visit, and we'd happily return.

A pleasant little campsite beside La Saline Royale, with everything we needed and a very warm welcome. Many thanks for helping us sort out our laundry crisis!

The area is stunning, with lovely villages, towns, and places of real cultural importance. Saline Royale is a must, and its bookshop is wonderful. We also loved the magical town of Salis-Les-Bains. Camping La Saline was a great introduction to camping in this part of Europe for us, even though the drive from Warsaw with kids is a long one. We camp a lot and have stayed in many places, but this was a brilliant choice. There are fairly spacious pitches, good facilities, a really nice pool, and a bar with simple but tasty pizza and drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The local village has a big, good quality supermarket with what you might need, and right opposite it is one of the best bakeries you'll ever see. I can't remember the last time I relaxed this much. Highly recommend!

A calm, clean campsite right by the river, with a pool and a small restaurant. They have fresh, delicious bread in the morning and maps for walking and cycling. There's plenty nearby to visit, including waterfalls, castles, mountains, forests and caves. We were told about places to go in both good and bad weather.

A clean, friendly little CP in the French countryside, southwest of Besançon.
