Huttopia Arcachon

We stayed in an Arizona tent, a comfortable mix of a tent and mobile home, with plenty of room and shade. The campsite has a good feel, lots going on, and still quiet nights. Its pool area had enough sun loungers, and the bread service was a great addition at reasonable prices. The restaurant only serves pizza, but ours was really tasty. It's near the villages and beaches around Arcachon, although the hills and distance make walking there inconvenient, especially with younger children.

The area had loads to do, and the walk into Arcachon took us around 20-25 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were great activities for the kids. We had a comfortable stay here. The Dune of Pilat is well worth visiting, and getting there by public transit was very easy.

There was a lot happening for the kids, plus bike rentals and a concert, and the staff were always there to help. It's our third trip to Huttopia, and we really love the idea of being in nature with comfort. I did find it a bit too crowded compared with other places, but it was still a really enjoyable stay. We'd definitely go back.

The kitchen was small but had everything we needed, and the cottage was clean and in a great location. With four of us, having three bedrooms was really convenient. The furniture was minimal, though, and the garden chairs were cheap, small, and uncomfortable.
