The staff deserve special mention. I left a few things in our room and didn't realize until I was already well into Spain. They were kind, responded quickly, found my belongings, and sent them on to me in Portugal. I'm really grateful for that kind of service, which seems increasingly uncommon. It's also good value, right by the sea, and just a short walk from the town centre.

The rooms are on the small side, but comfortable. The hotel itself is three stars and was built around 50-60 years ago. It's been nicely renovated, and the inside makes a better impression than the exterior. It's right on the beach, about a 20-minute walk from the centre of Arcachon. We didn't try breakfast.

Parking took some effort because the spaces are tight and there are several hazards. Still, we slept better here than in most hotels, and our room was comfortable. Breakfast was OK, with fresh croissants. It's a comfortable family-run place with three lovely ladies. The hotel is on the beach and has a small pool area. They didn't have swimming towels, but drinks were available on request.

The night staff were very helpful. The room itself was clean and comfortable, even though the hotel looks a bit tired. It's right on the beach and close to the town centre, restaurants, and bars. There were a few letdowns. The hot water was barely tepid, and reception didn't address it after I reported it. The tea and coffee setup was stingy, with just one tea and one coffee and a poor selection. My room was called a garden room, but it looked over the car park, so that name didn't fit. Breakfast choices were limited, including the hot options.

The views are great, but the place feels old and worn out. The pool wasn't cleaned properly, and its gate had been damaged and patched with tape. Service varied depending on who was working, and check-in wasn't welcoming. I was also refused a coffee before 8:00, so I had to drive into town for one. There's no EV charging, and the courtyard doesn't have enough parking spaces. They could make this place better if they cared enough.
