Residhome Arcachon Plazza

The rooms are spacious and have a useful kitchenette, which makes this good value. The market square is right nearby, the beach is a block away, and the train station is close too. 👏

The rooms were comfortable and looked after, and the hotel was clean, with a pleasant atmosphere. We could also get to the amenities we needed without difficulty. Those parts of our stay helped us rest after long workdays during our charity mission with colleagues. At check-in, two men were at reception. One was kind and accommodating, but the other came across as unwelcoming, which put a damper on our arrival. In a diverse group of young professionals, everyone should feel valued and be treated courteously, whatever their background or reason for staying. That uneven reception service concerned us. We left with both good and bad impressions. The hotel has potential, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to make the welcome consistently respectful and professional for all guests.

We spent a week here in August 2023. The main issue was the noise from market stalls being set up. Away from that, the location should suit most people, with the beach nearby and Arcachon laid out for tourism and relaxing. There are lots of restaurants, although finding options for vegetarian diets wasn't as easy. Our apartment room was a good standard and the kitchen was well equipped. The front desk staff were helpful and keen to assist, and there's a supermarket close by.

We've stayed here twice now and really like it. This time our room was at the back. It's very quiet despite being right in the centre, close to everything. The old building has been given new decor, and the apartment hotel is rated four stars. There's a little kitchen in the room. A few small things could be better: the windows and some details could be cleaner, and a spot by the entrance to hang jackets and bags would be handy.
