Chambres d'Hôtes La Ratonette

There were four of us, and we all had a wonderful stay at Virginie's guesthouse. Virginie and Alain were very kind, welcoming, and helpful hosts. Breakfast was generous and delicious, served in a lovely living room with a kitchen we could use throughout our stay. The garden has a barbecue, pétanque court, ping-pong table, badminton, and a big terrace with superb countryside views. There's also a converted barn with table football, billiards, and other games, which was great for spending time together. We didn't use the pool because the evenings were chilly this time of year, though it looks tempting for a summer visit.

We felt right at home during our family stay at this gîte. The pool was clean and heated, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Virginie and Alain were incredibly attentive. Our room was superb, clean, tastefully decorated, and well soundproofed, and the welcome was so warm.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome. We stayed three nights in a clean, nicely sized room with air conditioning, and had plenty of space to cool off in the large pool. The grounds are spacious too. It's ideally placed for trips around Sarlat and the Lascaux caves. Don't hesitate to stay here.

The heated pool was a real treat, and the peaceful, well-kept grounds made our short bed-and-breakfast stay even better. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and gave us great tips on places to see nearby. Breakfast was very generous, with homemade jams. Highly recommended, especially for the exceptional price.
