The positives were the heated pool, good bakery and friendly campsite staff. Still, €6.50 for a 7 kg washing machine with no detergent is far too expensive. We came with a caravan and wish it had been clearer that there are only a limited number of camping pitches, with the rest of the accommodation made up of mobile homes. The available pitches are along the side, and they're quiet and tidy. The water point was quite far away, and the sanitary building even farther. You had to keep pressing the shower button to get water. The baby bath had no plug and barely any warm water, there was no soap in the toilets, and none had toilet seats. Power was a major problem. On the first night, another camper apparently used the wrong electricity cable, causing a short circuit during a rainstorm, so we had no electricity. It failed five more times, and we were without power every night. With young children, we were awake during the night. Each morning we had to find someone at the campsite because reception didn't open until 9 a.m. We couldn't use our freezer, and when the power went out during the day, we had to go back to reception again. The receptionist never apologized. The man who had to turn the power back on each time even seemed annoyed. We don't understand how anyone can set up camping pitches with such a poor electricity network. If nothing can be done, management could at least acknowledge how frustrating it is.
