The pool was the only nice part. The living space is tiny for two adults and a child, and the adult bed is a sofa bed. There’s barely room in the living room, no bedroom window, and no shutters. Loud music and heavy bass go on constantly, so naps and a full night’s sleep are impossible.

We were glad to leave, mostly because the service was so poor, and I wouldn’t recommend it. We spent three nights in what they call a “Residence.” The apartments are tiny and bare, with no towels or sheets, not even soap in the shower, so bring everything yourself. They charge a €500 deposit plus €100 for cleaning, yet give you supplies to clean before departure. It’s meant to be a “hotel,” but there’s no cleaning on departure day, and even after cleaning we were dealing with the mess left by previous guests. Staff were incredibly unfriendly unless you’re French. The pool lifeguard was rude and demanding, too. Also, men can’t wear just any swimsuit in the pool, so check the rules first or you may not be allowed to swim.

Everyone we met on staff was incredibly friendly and professional, so we’d still come back despite a few drawbacks. The residence is quiet and close to the campsite amenities, beach, amusement park, and more. You can get to the town center on the little train, though reception didn’t mention it, which was a shame. Parking is easy, but spaces aren’t assigned to particular accommodation. The entrance to the campsite is monitored, while the connected residence entrance isn’t. With reception only open on weekends, some people seem to think they’re alone in the shared corridor, where noise echoes easily. The 15m² studio is small, though nicely decorated and laid out. There’s no table or chairs inside, so when it rains you have to bring the outdoor ones in. The fold-down table isn’t big enough for two to eat at unless one person sits on the sofa. An awning would give better shade than a parasol, since it gets hot indoors in strong sun, even with air conditioning. A bathroom cabinet under the sink would also help with storage.

The bedding felt a bit low-end, and corridor noise carries right into the residence, which can be disturbing when you want to sleep in. Still, the welcome and service were impeccable, and the campsite is very pleasant and ideally located.
