Whenever we're in Argentat, we make a point of eating here. The portions are generous, and the house red goes down easily. The food is consistently delicious, cooked just right and nicely presented. Always a good time.

The prices are very reasonable, and sitting outside is lovely when the weather cooperates. One of the best restaurants I've tried. I'd happily come back.

I was disappointed to learn that the Hotel Restaurant is currently open only to residents. I've eaten here many times over more than 30 years, so I hope this turns out not to be a permanent change.

The room was comfortable and had air conditioning, and breakfast came with plenty to eat. Fairly priced, too.

Lovely people, attentive service, and really good food. For this kind of quality, the prices are very low.
