Pierre & Vacances Résidence Les Belles Rives

The heated pool is very well maintained. We went in the off-season, when the residence was very quiet, and had direct access to the banks of the Dordogne, with some lovely walks nearby.

We visited in June, when it was very quiet with few crowds. The complex has small holiday apartments, and the grounds are well kept, with a swimming pool as a nice extra. It's about a 10-minute walk from the town center.

We've been renting for 30 years, and have never run into anything like this. There was no Wi-Fi, the bathrooms were outdated, and the furniture was very old and worn. The carpet was badly worn and stained. One hallway had been made into a bedroom, but the door couldn't even open all the way, which made it hard to make the bed. There was no welcome you'd expect at a residence. We wanted to leave immediately, even though the place looked quite nice on the website. I agree with the previous review. We paid for end-of-stay cleaning even though we didn't stay. I told Maeva how dissatisfied I was, and their responses are attached. They were just automated replies, there was no compensation, and they completely ignored our complaint. In short, avoid this place.

The residence's concierge and his wife gave us a fantastic welcome. Such warm, attentive people! Thank you.
