The room had plenty of space and was comfortable, and the essentials we wanted for a trip to Puy du Fou were all there: free parking, a quiet and clean room, a private bathroom, breakfast, and even a kitchenette. There were lots of dishes, the sheets and towels were fresh, and the staff were friendly and easy to reach. The windows, though, looked like they had plastic over them, which gave the room a hospital feel. Some nicer curtains might have made it more welcoming. We also noticed a strong musty smell when we first arrived, and the beds and mattresses seemed a bit old.

The room was clean and decent, with everything we needed, but the pool was often packed and not very clean, and there weren't enough loungers. I was also nervous using the old hairdryer and kettle because they gave off a slight burning smell, and I worried they might catch fire. We had another frustrating issue with the woman we spoke to by phone. We made a pointless 1.5-hour round trip to pick up a watch we'd left behind because we were told they opened at 2 pm. At 2:30 she still wasn't there, then she just told us over the phone how to get the watch ourselves. It would've made more sense to give us those instructions from the start and save us the time and gas.

The outdoor pool was fantastic and clean, and the apartments had all the comforts we needed for a great holiday. The staff were friendly too. Thanks, Chloé. I'll be back! 😊👍
