La maison d’arles

La Maison d'Arles was a great place to take a break during our Via Rhona bike tour. Our bikes were safe, and we had a wonderful time relaxing there. It's a beautiful house, furnished with style and lots of attention to detail, and the host is a great cook. We're already looking forward to coming back. Merci Mathieu

We stayed four nights and really liked it here. The apartment in the garden had a fully equipped kitchen, though it was very small, with a small bed and a bathroom behind a curtain. The house is beautiful and big, and the rooftop terrace has a fantastic view of the amphitheatre. The location is right in the city center, and breakfast was good.

The location is perfect, with all of Arles walkable, the amphitheater half a block away, and a dozen restaurants nearby. The rooms matched the website photos, clean and beautiful, with little hotel-style extras like shampoo, shower gel, q-tips, and cotton pads. I also made good use of the roof deck for sunbathing on warm days. It was tricky to find the place, even with google maps. There are no signs outside, and the building looks just like the ones next to it. The clue was Sabrinas' name on the door plaque, which says it's a pedicure place. I later realized she has a foot spa on the lowest floor. I waited until she was done, then everything was fine. :) I'm a solo backpacker on a two-month trip, and Arles was on my map because I love Van Gogh. I'm so glad I found this place. It's one of the best bnb experiences I've had. Sabrina was lovely despite her broken English, and since I was traveling off season and was the only guest, she upgraded me to the bigger bed for free. Breakfast was delicious, with jams, fresh baguette, cereal, juice, croissants, butter, and coffee, much more than the hostels I'd stayed in had offered. This place is really exquisite, and at €60 a night, you can't get a better deal. I'd highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Arles.

A great place, one of the best you'll find. If you're lucky enough to stay here, enjoy it.
