The room was small but spotless, with a bath, separate WC, mini fridge and kettle. I had a rooftop view, though there should be more outlets. Midweek in the off season, it was great value, and breakfast was a good European style. The staff I met were friendly and helpful, and spoke English. It works perfectly for a solo traveler, and a couple could manage if traveling light. There are grocery shops, cafes, bakeries and the Tourist Office nearby. In just a couple of blocks you're in Arles's amazing old town, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the river walk and 20 minutes to the train station. Some reviews call the area unsafe, but I didn't see anything that seemed unsafe. Arles is an ancient, dense small city with limited parking. Parking is easy to figure out before you book, so blaming the hotel for it seems unfair. I was pleased with my stay and plan to return in a few weeks, especially if they keep their very competitive rates.

The hotel is well placed for the historic center and museums, and a bus to the railway station stops close by. My room was comfortable, pleasant and quiet, and had a small safe, a nice bathroom and its own terrace with a little table and chairs. There wasn't much room to hang clothes, though, and the cleanliness was faultless. Breakfast costs extra, but it was a good continental buffet in the bright lobby. All the staff were courteous, friendly and ready to help. The immediate area could use better lighting at night, though it gets a bit brighter further on. I had a perfectly comfortable stay!

The location was good and the staff helpful. I was in room number #5, where the mattress was old and terrible, with springs I could feel.

The hotel was comfortable, and the people working there were nice. It’s handy for museums, bars, and sights like the Roman ruins, all within walking distance. They had breakfast available, though we didn’t buy it, and they did give us free coffee. The hotel itself didn’t leave much of an impression.
