The owner is thoughtful and incredibly helpful, and breakfast is lovely. There are two spacious, well-equipped rooms above a small museum, once the home of the Fondation Van Gogh, across the street from the Roman arena. On a 1 to 10 scale, Palais gets a 12. If you're visiting Arles, stay here. If a room's available, grab it.

The room was enormous, quiet, and clean, and we liked the calm, inspiring feel so much that we added nights to our stay. Palais de Luppé is a striking old townhouse opposite the arena, filled with lovely architecture, hidden details, and history shared by its owner. It also hosts art exhibitions. We booked at the last minute, and it turned out to be a special place to stay while exploring Arles, beyond the usual tourist stops.

The welcoming, knowledgeable hosts give a first-class tour of this remarkable heritage landmark, sharing its fascinating mix of art, architecture, and politics. A hidden gem in the heart of historic Arles, and well worth seeing.

A family-run gallery overflowing with history and art. The talent and splendor there are breathtaking. Thanks for taking the time to show us around such a stunning place! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

You feel like part of history while you're there. The location is hard to beat, and the hosts are incredibly accommodating. An incredible place to stay.
