La Charmeraie

A lovely stop in the middle of nature, though we wished we could have stayed longer. Daniel and Daniza welcomed us so warmly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast came with delicious homemade jams, and their sightseeing tips were spot on. Many thanks to them. We’d gladly recommend a stay.

The house was beautiful and spotless, and breakfast brought together fresh produce, jams, and delicious homemade honey. The hosts made us feel so welcome and had great suggestions for restaurants and places to see. We had a wonderful time at La Charmeraie and will stay again next time we’re in the Bay of Somme.

We spent three nights here with friends and left delighted. The quiet setting was close to all the sights, and the owners were kind, attentive, and easy to talk with. The grounds are wonderful, with a large vegetable garden, fruit and ornamental trees with stories behind them, an unusual chicken coop, and beehives. Our spotless rooms had lovely bedding and linens, plus slippers and a little bundle of toiletries on the bed. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and very generous, with homemade honey and jams and eggs from their lovely hens. We recommend La Charmeraie in the Bay of Somme without hesitation. See you again, P et R.

The location worked really well for exploring Saint-Valery, Mers-les-Bains/Le Tréport, and the Bois de Cise. Daniel and his wife were so attentive and offered useful ideas for making the most of the Bay of Somme. We found the house beautiful and our room exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of sweet and savory choices made from local products. We highly recommend staying here.
