We had to pay a little extra for parking, but there was plenty of it. The hotel sits right in the middle of the pretty town of Arromanche, near the remains of the Mulberry harbour from WW2. It feels more like a motel, since every room opens to the outside, and some of the decor could use attention. Still, everything was clean, tidy and well equipped. The staff were friendly, though they didn't speak English, and the continental breakfast had a nice range of choices.

It was a very nice stay. The rooms were well appointed, and we could easily walk to the museum and restaurants. Breakfast was good, though it cost extra, and parking was available for an additional charge.

The hosts were so pleasant and friendly, and the hotel was close to everything we needed in Arromanches. We had a few wonderful days there. Our compact room was extremely clean and tidy, had everything we needed, and having our own front door was especially useful. Highly recommended.

The breakfast room looked beautifully decorated and new, and the breakfast was made with quality organic food. We booked directly with the owner through Facebook. On arrival, the baby cot wasn't in the room, and in low season we were surprised to be charged extra for it. This was the only hotel during our stay in Normandy to charge us for a cot. The hotel has just 9 bedrooms in a motel style, with a convenient free parking area. Our room was pretty large, with IKEA-style decor and okay bedding. But in rooms N°1 and N°2, we heard a noisy pipe rattling, and room N°1 had bad sewer odors. We also saw a large black damp mark on one wall. The welcome was standard. The hotel is good, but not in perfect condition, and I think the price could have been 10% lower, especially in low season.
