The dog was the only nice part of our stay. The rooms are huge but cold, and the only radiator that worked was a flimsy one in the bathroom meant to warm towels. We felt like an inconvenience from the moment we arrived. The aging owners live under the same roof as guests, something they conveniently hide until you're already there. They seemed not to have expected us and couldn't have cared less. Their attitude was awful, and they acted as though they were doing us a favor by taking our money for one of the château's only two rooms. We were told we couldn't do this or that. Breakfast was very poor: stale Carrefour bread, wet and tasteless butter, and inedible jams. The owner brags about making the jams himself, but he should give up and buy them instead of being so cheap. The coffee and tea weren't worth having either.

Amazing place.

Mr. Léopold made breakfast a memorable part of the stay. He joined us, shared lots of fascinating stories, and even gave us 3 liters of his delicious homemade apple juice. It felt a bit like visiting a great-uncle who was lord of the manor. The breakfast itself was excellent, with local products. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. Our room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and the whole visit really made an impression. A place I'd recommend visiting 😅

Breakfast was generous, with plenty of local products like jams, apple juice, yogurt, and pound cake. The owner was charming, attentive, and engaging, and we'd happily come back. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The bathroom was pleasant and functional too. We highly recommend the experience.

We really enjoyed talking with the owner. He was kind and welcoming, and took the time to tell us about the castle's history. Breakfast was made with local and homemade products and served in a beautifully decorated reception room. The room was very spacious, with a magnificent garden view and a huge, comfortable bed. The walk-in shower and magnificent whirlpool tub were a real plus. Highly recommended for a totally relaxing romantic weekend!
