Les Cabanes de Carelle

The three cabins are arranged so everyone can have peace and privacy, and the grounds are beautiful. I came back to Cabanes de Carelle for a second stay, in June 2024 after first visiting in June 2023. I usually choose a new place each time, even though I’ve seen a lot of the country and some wonderful spots. Here I found a sense of calm, light, and well-being I haven’t found elsewhere. The cabin was clean, cozy, and practical, and the pool was beautiful and well kept. The host was lovely, warm, welcoming, and discreet. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for comfort while visiting the Cévennes. See you next year, I’m sure!

We had a lovely family holiday here. The cottages are beautiful wood cabins, with one bedroom downstairs and another under the roof. Everything was provided apart from a dishwasher. It’s very peaceful, and the pool is shared by the three cottages. The hostess gave us such a warm welcome. Sommieres is about 10 minutes away, with bakeries and supermarkets.

The owners were so kind and attentive. It’s a little paradise, a lovely place to get away and properly switch off.

Sommieres is nearby, but the setting itself is wonderfully quiet. The welcome was really pleasant, and it made for a perfect vacation in a magical place.
