There are lovely old towns and museums nearby. The cottage itself is thoughtfully made and equipped with pretty much everything, even an immersion blender and citrus juicer. The beds are comfortable and both bathrooms are excellent. My main gripe is the living room seating: it fits four, but it isn't very comfortable. And despite the big garden, there's almost nowhere shaded outside in warm weather. A small parasol is all there is, with no trees or shade cloth. A few comfy loungers and more shade would be great, and a couple of fans would be a real help on hot days.

Joons and Jackson, the alpacas, are magnificent, and we had a wonderful stay. The owners were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The house was beautiful, fully equipped, and had high-quality bedding. We also had delicious home-cooked meals. The cheese puffs were to die for. We recommend them 1000%.

The terrace looks out over a large, open garden, and Indigo house was a really comfortable place to stay. It’s brand new, in perfect condition, and well equipped, with excellent bedding and a warm welcome. Arlette's cooking is well worth trying. The generous charcuterie platter was delicious, and the gougères were unforgettable. We also loved the brioche and ham puff pastry. The true Burgundy fondue was new to us, made without oil, with meat so tender it was like butter. Arlette can offer local wines at very good value too.

We especially appreciated the sun loungers and barbecue. The rental was very clean and extremely well equipped, with excellent bedding and really spacious rooms. A very nice place.
