Camping du Garlaban

We got a great welcome at reception, and the pitches were spacious with a quiet atmosphere. The roads are a bit rough, and there’s very little lighting for walking to the showers after dark. The facilities were clean, but the showers were cold, which was a big letdown since that was why we booked.

The staff were very friendly when we arrived, and the site felt well secured at night. Our campervan pitch was level, though the surrounding ground was very uneven, with lots of dips that we had to watch out for in the dark. The bathrooms and showers could be kept up better. The campsite also needs more lighting at night, since the bathrooms were hard to find and a long way from our pitch.

We stayed in a motorhome on a very generous pitch. The small site is peaceful and quiet, set among pine trees and developed in a way that suits the natural beauty of the area. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

There were lovely trees around our pitch, electricity right beside us, and lights on the path to the toilets that came on automatically. The toilets and showers were good, and the swimming pool looked nice, though we didn’t use it. One small snag: the ground was too hard for us to get a tent peg in with a rubber mallet. Luckily, our neighbors lent us a regular hammer 🙂
