We spent three weeks in France, and our week in Aubenas was a real highlight. It’s a lovely town with plenty of good restaurants, and a great base for exploring the Ardeche region. Tristan's house feels tucked into nature, with a wooded garden and birdsong, even though the town is just a short walk away. Inside, it’s spacious, creative, and really comfortable. Tristan was always there if we needed anything without ever hovering, and his two trusty companions greeted us each morning with wagging tails. Five star customer service from them too!

The kids were especially happy to have the super cute, friendly dogs to play with. We’re already hoping to come back, maybe in summer so we can make the most of the inviting pool and beautiful grounds. Our family had a wonderful stay, beyond what we expected. The host was so welcoming and easy to reach, and the city center of Aubenas was only a short stroll away.

The house is brand-new, beautifully finished, and set in a gorgeous park with a cool swimming pool. We had a lovely time there with the kids. Tristan and his mother were warm and welcoming while still giving us plenty of space. The dogs kept us company during our stay. Such a great place, highly recommended.

We had a really pleasant week, thanks for that. The house has loads of room, both indoors and out, and is very well equipped. The pool is great too. Tristan and his mother gave us a warm welcome, as did the two friendly house dogs. Cyclists should know Tristan rides too and can point out nice routes around the Ardeche on Strava. Perfect place to stay!

A great base for exploring the Ardeche. The kids had a lovely time wandering around the garden with the friendly dogs, and the house was super comfortable with everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay at le Clos d'Abrigeon!
