We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this rental. The house has real character and charm, and is fully set up for a comfortable holiday. There’s a lovely terrace with a barbecue, air conditioning, private parking, and a superb view of Aubenas. The garden is beautiful and fully fenced, with a heated pool and sun loungers. The owner welcomed us warmly and was friendly and helpful.

We had to find somewhere at the last minute on Sunday evening because there was a wasp nest in our other cottage. The owners were very friendly, and by Monday at noon the place was all ready for us. It’s a lovely cottage, especially the wonderful garden and fantastic pool!

We stayed for almost three weeks with our three children and dog. What a lovely home: it had a private pool, comfy sunbeds, an outdoor BBQ, and a fully equipped kitchen. There was digital TV too, so we didn’t have to miss Netflix. Air conditioning on both the ground floor and first floor was much appreciated since it can get pretty hot in the Ardèche. The house sits at a beautiful elevation, with a lovely view and a pleasant breeze. Aubenas center is a 20-minute walk downhill and well worth it. Communication was pleasant from the moment we booked, and Paul and Gaëlle were very hospitable when we arrived. What a fantastic holiday! The heated pool was a real treat after a hike, whatever the weather, and it’s rare to find one in this region. We could also let our dog roam freely in the well-kept, fully fenced garden. He got along really well with the owner's dog, a 2-year-old beagle 😊. Paul & Gaëlle welcomed us warmly to their superb, well-equipped villa. It sits in a quiet residential area above Aubenas, with a great view of town. Shops and restaurants are a five-minute drive away. The weather was a bit unpredictable in mid-May, but we still explored some beautiful Ardèche villages just 20 minutes from the villa, including Balazuc, Vogüe, Rochecolombe, and others. Thanks for having us! We’ll definitely recommend the villa to our friends.
