The hotel contacted me just two weeks before my stay and demanded that I cancel because they were overbooked. I'd booked at a good price six months earlier. It seems to me they want to make more during high season. Don't use this hotel's services, they're fraudsters!

They told me to cancel the reservation while my flight was taking off, laughing as they did. I had to find somewhere else to stay. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The employees couldn't speak English and even had to ask a client to speak for them, which is impossible to understand in such a tourist city. They had no interest in helping or serving customers. While I was talking with their client, they mocked me and laughed at me. I hope this useless place gets removed from the reservation apps.

I was there for 12 days, and for the price it was clean and modest enough. The neighborhood is busy and noisy, with four different kinds of sirens to hear, including SAMU, Pompiers, and Gendarmerie, since it's right in the center of the Aubervilliers district. There are some Kebabs and Brasserie shops nearby. In general, it's okay for a short stay.

There's no proper check-in or check-out, which felt a bit strange. You pay in advance, and there isn't a receptionist, so you have to go to the bar to get the door code. The hotel is in a non-turistic part of Paris. The bar staff are very nice and helpful, and the room was lovely and clean. They don't speak English, so knowing at least a little French is useful.
