We loved the warm welcome from the owners, who live next door with their lovely dogs. The old farmhouse, dating from the 1600s, is well equipped and still has some authentic features. There are lots of books in different languages, and the garden is secure for dogs. Only French TV is available, which suited us since we understand French and don't watch much TV on holiday. It's a great base between Calais and Boulogne-sur-Mer, with plenty of outings nearby that don't involve a long drive. A lovely spot for a countryside break, local food, and walks if that's your thing.
