We were glad this restaurant was still serving lunch when most others in town had shut for the day. Asking for a late lunch got us a very warm welcome and a cheerful “bien sur!” The food was delicious: my creme ail was full of flavour and came with good homemade chips, and we also had fresh prawns with homemade mayonnaise. I’m not sure why some people didn’t care for the moules. The two waitresses were incredibly sweet and patient with our awful French. A great find on the Opal coast, and five stars from us. Thank you!

We had a really good evening meal, with fresh seafood cooked just right and excellent service. The location is handy too, just 20 minutes from the tunnel and a 20-minute walk from a lovely beach. We stayed one night in a nice, cool room with a comfortable bed, good shower and WiFi. The staff were friendly, efficient and gave us a warm welcome. A great find!

The desserts were amazing, and the food came out really quickly. The restaurant felt clean and welcoming, and the staff were extremely friendly. My girlfriend and I ordered mussels with garlic sauce. The sauce may be the best I’ve ever had with mussels, though the mussels themselves weren’t the freshest. Still, everything was perfect :)

There’s plenty of parking, and dogs are welcome. We had a great day, with spectacular views over the opale coast and the nearby WW11 German Gun/Fort Museum. The restaurant was lovely, the food excellent, and the service friendly. They spoke good English for our benefit. Thank you.
