The upstairs bedrooms smelled musty, and several appliances weren't working. We also had to clean the windows ourselves to get a view of the sea. We rented the whole property, but the downstairs bedroom was let to other tenants who came into the house without our permission. On top of that, we were charged extra for heating.

I booked a weekend here and feel cheated. It cost 224 for two nights, then there was an extra charge for electricity. The bedding was dirty and smelled bad, and the electric heating was miserable. The only good points were the magnificent view and the hot water in the shower, although the shower was dirty.

We cancelled this rental just 7 minutes after booking because it wasn't really what we wanted. The owners charged a €180 cancellation fee, and even after we emailed Booking.com and called to ask for a refund, including an exception, they refused to return the €200 rental fee for a booking that lasted seven minutes. That's blatant theft!

We had a lovely stay, with a very pleasant welcome and a beautiful sea view. The apartment was well maintained, and we could get to the beach without needing a car. Breakfast was ok. We'll come back.

The location really is ideal, right by the sea with a magnificent view. Unfortunately, that's the house's only positive point. It's in disrepair: our bedroom window wouldn't close fully, and some walls and ceilings were damp and had simply been painted over. There was very little storage, it wasn't very clean, and there was no decoration at all. We were there for the young children, but we considered leaving to find somewhere more comfortable. It's a real shame. With a little investment and some taste, this place could be truly exceptional. Eric
