The room was clean and comfortable, with good beds, which mattered most to me. Elhadj at reception was really helpful at breakfast and gave me advice on the best road trips in the Vosges.

The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Elhadji was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast he made was great, with the bacon and eggs cooked just right.

The area was remote, with little nearby, and was supposed to be quiet, but around 4 a.m. a man was screaming and ringing the building's bell. It was really disturbing, and I left disappointed after having been so excited for the trip. I had booked two rooms for three adults, and the reservation still showed both rooms on the check-in day. The hotel cancelled one without my consent and assumed I had cancelled it. When we called, staff kept passing us around, left me waiting, and then hung up. In the end, I had to pay again for an extra room. If I had cancelled by mistake, I should have received a notification or refund. I got neither. I emailed the hotels, but after checkout they seemed to dismiss my message and never replied.

The breakfast was okay, and a very friendly woman looked after the counter. Check-in and payment were easy, the price was reasonable, and the room was comfortable. I was glad to find a B&B hotel on my route, a good place to stop for the night. The sheets were clean, though they felt a bit sweaty and almost plastic-like.
