I was on day 29 of walking from London to Santiago and really needed a proper rest. I found it here. The place was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was tailored to what I liked. They even took in my washing after I’d forgotten to do it. It felt like staying at someone’s home. You can chat with the hosts if you want, or they’ll leave you in peace. There’s a tranquil garden, a wonderful room, and such a caring, peaceful feel throughout. For the price I paid, it felt like a steal. I can’t believe the place isn’t better known, though perhaps the owners prefer it that way. Five stars, and compared with most places I’ve stayed, it deserves six.

We slept really well, and had lovely conversations with our hosts and the other guests. Tu cooked us a wonderful meal with delicious wine, since all the nearby restaurants were closed the night we arrived. The homemade fig cake for dessert was out of this world, and the homemade jams at breakfast were heavenly. Such a warm welcome. I can’t recommend this B&B highly enough.

We knew we’d found the right place when we arrived hot and tired and were offered a cool drink in the shade. I was nursing a Camino injury, and our hosts were so kind and helpful. Tu also knew the area well and helped us with dinner reservations and fresh fruit from their orchard. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this little oasis.

When our car broke down, the two hosts drove 20 minutes to pick us up and bring us to the B&B. They were fantastic. The place is decorated with care, and the beds, chairs, and bathroom were all very comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of choices for food and drink, and the coffee was the best we had in France.

Excellent all round and great value. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, and I’m looking forward to coming back. C.Pinn.ell 😉
