Sandra and Olivier were such helpful, friendly hosts that we'd gladly come back. We stayed for a relaxing week in the one-bedroom gîte, which was comfortable, superbly equipped, and had everything we needed. The gîtes, garden, pool, and terrace areas were all exceptionally clean and very well maintained. It's an easy walk into Aups, and a convenient base for the lake St. Croix and the Gorge du Verdon. There are also lots of cycling routes and villages to explore, with local bike hire available.

The grounds and pool were lovely and clearly well cared for, and our unit was spotless and had everything we needed. Olivier and Sandra were gracious hosts. It was our first family visit to Aups, and the October long weekend brought surprisingly great weather. We were close enough to walk into town for its restaurants and amenities, and only wished we could have stayed longer. We'd happily visit again.

I've returned to Gîte du Diamant Noir twice, and both stays were excellent. The hosts are kind, helpful, and discreet, and they've made it easy to feel at home. The gîte is tastefully decorated, very clean, and extremely well equipped, in a great location. I'd highly recommend it.
