The fish main was nice, and the setting was lovely on a summer’s day. The starter was good too, but the steak was overcooked and its fries seemed to have been sitting out for a while. Service was very slow.

The room was clean and a reasonable size, and the price was fair. Finding public parking was tough. The restaurant menu is limited and feels overpriced. There’s a fantastic crêperie about a five-minute walk away.

We had a spotless double room, though it was on the small side. The hotel is in the town center and was very reasonably priced. Staff were helpful, and some spoke English.

The restaurant looked empty when we arrived, but they still wouldn’t let us in. They said they had no table for five adults and three children. That seemed like a very poor reason for a hotel in the center, and I expect the service to be just as poor.

The hotel is well situated in town, and the room was good. The bathroom felt a bit dated.
