The garden by the brook and the lovely setting made this stay feel like a dream. The rooms were pretty nice, everyone was very friendly, and dinner was really tasty. Coming from the south, the trip might feel like a journey through Carpatia, but I really enjoyed being here.

The meals were delicious, and the place was clean, cozy, and beautiful. The people there were lovely too. I stayed for a week and would definitely like to come back.

We were 15 mountain bikers and spent two nights at this magnificent gîte. Authon, tucked into the mountains, is a great spot for a quiet getaway. We got a really warm welcome, and the food was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and peaceful. I highly recommend it.

That tajine made by chef Bachir was absolutely fabulous. We also had a wonderful hike in a peaceful setting that felt a world away, and the welcome was so warm. A lovely weekend at Gîte des Monges, we'd happily recommend it.

After a full day walking, we were especially glad to have such delicious meals from Amélie and Bachir, who welcomed us so warmly. The rooms were spotless and the beds perfect. We were on a multi-day hike and staying just one night, and our kind hosts even helped with supplies when our food was running low for the rest of our mountain trip. Thank you!
