We stayed here for one night in 2019, and it ended up being our favorite stop of the whole three-week trip. We still think about it. The room was quiet, spacious, clean, and just right, and our hosts were lovely and very helpful. Auvers sur Oise was all within walking distance. Gites des Tournesols is a gem, and my husband and I would definitely stay again.

The host was so helpful that they even brought us an extra folding bed for our child. The house had a well-equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, and more. The rooms weren't large, but they were comfortable. There was only one toilet and one bathroom, in separate rooms, which was the main drawback. Street parking was fine, though we sometimes parked nearby when there wasn't a spot in front of the house. If you're driving, the train station is easy to reach, and Paris is 20 minutes away by train. Very good value for the price.

The owner was accommodating, and the cottage was quiet and well equipped. Parking was the one drawback. The town is very pleasant and full of history, and I’d like to return when it’s no longer lockdown.

The cottage itself was nice, but the owner was quite peculiar. At 11:00 PM on Saturday, we got a text saying we had to leave the premises by 10:30 AM Sunday. That didn’t feel very cooperative.
