For one night, it cost 50€. The bed was unexpectedly comfortable, and check-in was quick, but that was about all I liked. The room decor was ugly. There was a bad smell from the toilet pipes, and the toilet had no curtain.

We had a clean, simple family room with plenty of space and comfortable beds, and the welcome was really friendly. The hotel is right in the middle of old town Auxerre, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops and bars among the historic buildings. It’s a great place to stop, though the city makes you want to come back for longer.

The rooms are a little dated, but clean and functional, and the location is amazing. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating, though you should check the check-in times. For the price, it’s great value.

There was no parking, no hairdryer, and no reception after 21:00. Our room was below average, with old furniture that was partly missing, and we could hear noise from more than one floor above. Only French seemed to be accepted. In reply to the owner's comment: that was not Italian, I think. You either speak no language but French, or don't care about your customers' languages. Fortunately, we found other hotels in France that were a whole different thing. Adieu 👋

The staff were friendly, the location was good, and there was street parking nearby. But I suspect bed bugs: I woke up with five bites, and we had to disinfect all our clothes when we got home.
