Ibis Budget Auxerre Nord (Ouverture Printemps 2025)

The restaurant next door served a fantastic evening meal, and it was great value too. The hotel was good all around and extremely good value. There are plenty of other places to eat within walking distance as well. Well worth considering if you're in the area.

The building's condition was a disappointment, and getting to our family room on the fifth floor meant carrying our baby in a stroller up several flights of stairs. The elevator only reaches the fourth floor. When we mentioned it to Monsieur le Directeur at check-in, he said he wasn't the architect. We had booked this hotel beside the autoroute for a one-night stop halfway through our trip. Next time we'll stay at the Ibis budget next door, which looks brand new, costs much less, and likely has an elevator to our floor.

We had a wonderful evening meal, definitely worth eating there. Our room was really spacious and lovely and clean, and the staff were very nice.

We had a lovely experience at the restaurant, where the staff seemed genuinely interested in their guests. The menu has a good range of options for everyone. For our road trip, the hotel's location near the highway was convenient, and it had what you'd expect from a three-star place. The rooms were spacious and well kept. Getting to the fifth floor was a small annoyance, since you have to take the stairs from the fourth, but I assume that will be addressed in the upcoming renovation. A great stop for families travelling.
